Steve Severance discovered another potential problem with IDX applications - CareCast. I have already commented on their RIS product "IDXRad" in previous post "Future of IDXRad". Now we discover that the core of CareCast application is written in COBOL!!
What was GE thinking when they bought IDX? By the way GE paid $1.2 billion for IDX.
